Today, I will be promoting and discussing one of the most magnificent sources of renewable energy, wind energy! I have chosen this option as it is the most interesting, effective and cleanest sources of renewable energy. Here, I will be describing why I believe that wind energy is the best way forward for the Greater Toronto Area, for a clean, sustainable future.
Wind power, is a highly effective, renewable source of energy that is used all around the world, including Canada, who has a big share in the amount of wind power that is produced, globally. The first electricity generating windmill was invented by an engineer named Charles F Brush in 1888. He did this to provide electricity for his mansion in Ohio, and it was able to generate 12 kW of power. Today, China has the biggest share in the amount of wind power generated in the world.
